Inspired by a visit to Villa Gamberaia in Italy, Jane's large graphite drawings and circular paintings appear like convex camera lenses pulling the viewer into a memory of the garden. Each one leads them to distinctive garden features that are designed to offer shade, sanctuary or dramatic vistas deep into the garden.
